3. The provider contacts you, inspects or quotes the job, and you decide whether to hire them.

Verify before you hire

In New Jersey, plumbing work must be done by or under a licensed Master Plumber. Ask for the license number and verify it with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs (State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers).
